Amanda Holden rekindles ‘feud’ rumour with cryptic message after Phillip Schofield comes out as gay – Manchester Evening News

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has raised eyebrows with a cryptic Instagram post after her former colleague Phillip Schofield came out as gay.

Amanda shared a video of herself kicking her legs in the air while posing for a photoshoot, and it was the caption for the video that also grabbed attention.

“Always more interesting what goes on behind the scenes,” she messaged with a cheeky-face emoji.

“Interesting,” said one follower.

“Tell us about it,” urged another.

Amanda, who has previously stepped into Holly Willoughby‘s shoes when his co-star had time off off the ITV magazine show, had reportedly clashed with Schofe in the past.

Phillip, who is originally from Oldham, defended himself over claims by an unnamed source that Amanda had reportedly claimed the host cost her a presenting role on This Morning.

And Amanda told her Heart FM listeners the three things she wouldn’t like to find in her home were: “Spiders, flies and Phillip Schofield.”

He tweeted: “When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories from nameless ‘sources’.

“Obviously I’ll take it on the chin.. I just hope you know me better.”

In December she there were reports that things were a little tense between him and Holly Willoughby, as well as Ruth Langsford.

But ITV said it was just gossip.

When Amanda’s co-host Jamie Theakston pressed her on the matter she said she had “drawn a line under all those issues with Phillip” – but it wasn’t enough for Jamie, who probed her again for info.

And she said: “Well I’m just gonna say that I really admire anyone that sticks up for themselves because it is not an easy thing to do.

“There is a tin opener and there’s a can somewhere and other people have found the tin opener. That’s all I’m saying.”

Phillip, 57, has been flooded with support after coming out live on This Morning on Friday.

He swapped his usual presenter role on This Morning to be interviewed by co-star and friend Holly, where he revealed the struggles he had faced and told how he had received love and support from his family.

After making the announcement about his sexuality Phillip, from Oldham, was hugged by Eamonn and Ruth and he and Holly were joined by the pair on the sofa.
